The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued city intimation slips for the upcoming National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) re-examination scheduled for June 21. Students can access their assigned examination cities by logging into the official website and downloading the document from the NEET portal after completing the login process. The NTA clarified that the admit cards for the exams will be released separately, not to be confused with the city intimation slips.
The NTA’s announcement on social media informed candidates about the availability of the City Intimation Slip for NEET-UG 2026. Emphasizing the distinction, the NTA highlighted that the City Intimation Slip is different from the Admit Card, which will be issued closer to the examination date. Following the uproar over NEET paper leaks, the re-examinations are set for June 21, with approximately 23 lakh students expected to participate.
Scheduled for June 21, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., the NEET UG 2026 re-examination will be conducted in pen and paper mode across 551 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. The city intimation slips, provided in advance by the NTA, aim to inform candidates about their examination centers’ locations. This early information enables students to plan effectively, ensuring proximity to the centers for optimal preparation and performance.
