After releasing the scanned images of OMR sheets for the NEET UG 2026 re-exam on June 21, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the deadline to challenge OMR responses is approaching. Candidates are required to pay Rs 200 per challenge, with the fee being refunded if the challenge is accepted. The NTA has also initiated the fee refund process for NEET UG 2026 and expressed gratitude to the officials involved in the examination.

The NEET UG 2026 re-exam result is anticipated to be disclosed shortly after the deadline for challenging OMR responses. The window for disputing the provisional answer key had closed earlier on June 28. The NTA, in a recent message, acknowledged the extensive efforts and coordination involved in conducting the re-exam successfully on June 21. The organization emphasized the collaborative endeavor of various government bodies and officials to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.

The NTA praised the collective effort put forth on June 21, underscoring the meticulous planning and support provided to over 10,000 differently-abled candidates during the exam. The agency expressed gratitude to the numerous academic experts who dedicated their time to developing multiple sets of question papers. With over 20 lakh aspirants participating in the exam, the NTA highlighted the synchronized efforts of the administrative machinery across the country to facilitate a seamless examination process.
