O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) has organized the inaugural World University Leaders Forum (WULF) at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos. This event marks the first global higher education leadership platform of its kind at the Forum. WULF aims to bring together distinguished academics and university leaders worldwide to discuss, share best practices, and collaborate on common global challenges in higher education and society.
The establishment of the World University Leaders Forum showcases JGU’s commitment to promoting global academic collaboration and contributing to inclusive, equitable, and sustainable development. Over the past two decades, JGU has prioritized internationalization and cross-border engagement as integral parts of its institutional identity. WULF acts as a democratic global platform for universities from both the Global North and Global South to interact, learn from each other, and develop innovative solutions together.
At the World Economic Forum in Davos, the World University Leaders Forum will be hosted and moderated by Professor C. Raj Kumar, Vice Chancellor of O.P. Jindal Global University in Sonipat, India. Distinguished speakers at the event include global academic leaders from institutions like Pace University in New York, Abu Dhabi University in the UAE, SOAS University of London in the UK, Keio University Graduate School of Media Design in Tokyo, and QS Quacquarelli Symonds in London.
