Odisha’s School and Mass Education Minister, Nityananda Gond, confirmed the completion of all preparations for the upcoming Matriculation and +2 examinations. Stringent measures, such as advanced security features on question papers like watermarking and special printing patterns, have been implemented to prevent leaks and duplication. Surveillance, including CCTV monitoring at exam centers, will be in place to uphold transparency and discipline during the exams.
Comprising over 4 lakh students, the annual Plus Two exams are set to commence on February 18 in Odisha, with a majority being regular candidates. The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) oversees the +2 exams, while the Matriculation exams, involving 5,61,979 students, will start from February 19 under the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BOSE). Elaborate security arrangements have been made across 3,000 centers statewide to ensure the fair conduct of exams.
The government’s focus remains on creating a safe and conducive exam environment for students while upholding the integrity of the examination process.
