Odisha FC secured a hard-fought 2-1 win against Sporting Club Delhi in an Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26 match. Suhair Vadakkepeedika and Lalrinfela (Mafela) scored early goals for Odisha FC, with Matija Babovic’s penalty for SC Delhi serving as a consolation.

This victory propelled Odisha FC to 11th place in the league, surpassing Chennaiyin FC and NorthEast United FC. With 10 points from 11 matches, Odisha FC now sits ahead of SC Delhi, who also have 10 points but a lower goal difference.

The win significantly boosts Odisha FC’s chances of avoiding relegation as they strive to climb out of the relegation battle. On the other hand, SC Delhi, despite dominating possession, missed key opportunities to capitalize on their attacking metrics.
