Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati highlighted the significance of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in driving the vision of ‘Viksit Odisha’ by 2036 and ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047. He stressed that education plays a crucial role in nation-building and described NEP 2020 as a transformative reform aimed at leveraging India’s demographic dividend for economic growth and global leadership.

Governor Kambhampati commended the NEP 2020 as a roadmap to foster a robust and inclusive education system capable of meeting the challenges of the 21st century. He underscored the shift from rote learning to experiential and multidisciplinary education, aligning with the evolving demands of the knowledge economy driven by technological advancements.

In the context of rapid global changes, including artificial intelligence and digital innovation, the Governor emphasized the importance of critical thinking, creativity, and adaptability in education.
