Suspense lingers over the case of an ophthalmologist in Dharwad, Karnataka, accused of killing her doctor husband and harming their eight-year-old son. The incident unfolded when police were alerted about the attack on the man and child at Ranka Apartment in Barakotri area. Dr. Kiran Honnannavar was found dead, while his son, Nihit, sustained stab wounds but is now in stable condition.
Authorities suspect Dr. Kiran’s wife, Priya Honnannavar, also known as Priyanka, of carrying out the attack. The police commissioner revealed that the family has accused Priyanka of the murder. She allegedly stabbed her husband and son before attempting to take her own life. Priyanka’s medical condition currently prevents her from providing a statement, and she is under police observation at Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences.
