As the Opposition continued sloganeering, the Lok Sabha was adjourned for the second time during the Monsoon Session of Parliament. Despite requests for smooth proceedings, the Opposition’s disruptions led to adjournment till 12:30 p.m. Speaker Om Birla paid homage to former MPs before chaos ensued in the House.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of experienced parliamentarians in ensuring the smooth functioning of Parliament. He highlighted the need for meaningful discussions and collective determination to advance the nation. PM Modi urged for a positive spirit and a platform for voices dedicated to national service.
Encouraging productive debate, PM Modi stressed the significance of every voice finding an opportunity in the House. He called for reasoned discussions and respect for differing viewpoints. The Prime Minister urged all Members of Parliament to actively participate in the proceedings for the benefit of the nation.
