Ashoka strongly criticized the assault on Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) officials during a footpath clearance drive in Shivajinagar, citing it as a sign of deteriorating law and order in Karnataka. Ashoka condemned the attack on government officials, emphasizing the concerning state of law enforcement in the region.
Ashoka raised questions about the government’s response, particularly targeting Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Byre Gowda for his silence on the matter. He also called out Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, questioning the government’s inaction following the assault on officials. The Opposition Leader further challenged the government’s resolve in addressing encroachments in Shivajinagar, highlighting concerns about unequal application of the law in different areas.
