The Opposition, led by the Congress, plans to address key concerns during the upcoming Monsoon session of Parliament. These include the alleged theft at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple, the NEET-UG paper leak, and the forceful hospitalization of climate activist Sonam Wangchuk. Congress MPs emphasized the need for government accountability on issues affecting students, rising inflation, and lack of clarity on policies.

During an all-party meeting, Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi highlighted the importance of discussing pressing national issues over proposed Bills. He urged the government to address concerns raised by the Opposition, particularly regarding the alleged theft of Ram Temple donations. The Opposition also seeks to draw attention to student injustices and defections among opposition parties.

Congress MP Manish Tewari stressed the need for Parliament to address the issue of large-scale defections, emphasizing the disconnect between the 2024 mandate and the current composition of the Lok Sabha. Samajwadi Party MP Dharmendra Yadav called for discussions on issues such as the Ram Mandir fund theft, NEET-UG paper leak, and Sonam Wangchuk’s hospitalization. The Opposition is determined to raise these critical matters in Parliament.

CPI-M leader Hannan Mollah criticized the BJP-led government, accusing it of corruption and anti-democratic activities. He highlighted allegations of fund mismanagement at temples, including the Ram Mandir, and urged the government to provide answers. The Opposition remains steadfast in demanding accountability and transparency from the government.
