The Pakistan Cricket Board revealed a 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, with Fatima Sana continuing as captain for the tournament in England and Wales from June 12 to July 5. The team will also take part in a preparatory tri-series in Ireland alongside hosts Ireland and West Indies before the World Cup.

Eyman Fatima, Natalia Pervaiz, Rameen Shamim, Saira Jabeen, and Tasmia Rubab are among the newcomers set to debut in the Women’s T20 World Cup. Twenty-four-year-old Fatima, entering her third Women’s T20 World Cup, will lead Pakistan for the second consecutive time, having captained in the 2024 edition.

Following a successful home T20I series against Zimbabwe in Karachi, where they secured a 3-0 victory, Pakistan gears up for the World Cup. The team will engage in a tri-series in Dublin from May 28 to June 4, facing Ireland and the West Indies, and will have warm-up matches against Sri Lanka and Scotland on June 6 and June 9 in Derby, respectively.

Pakistan’s World Cup journey begins against arch-rivals India on June 14 at Edgbaston in Birmingham, followed by matches against South Africa, Bangladesh, Australia, and the Netherlands. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals on June 30 and July 2, with the final set to take place at Lord’s Cricket Ground on July 5.
