The attack took place near the Mashallah Hotel, where a military convoy of six vehicles was targeted, sparking a 40-minute exchange of fire. During the clash, military quadcopters were also attacked, causing casualties and material losses.
The armed group not only took control of a nearby police post but also damaged a communication tower and two surveillance cameras in the area. In a separate incident, Baloch fighters conducted snap-checking in the Dasht area of the Mastung district, setting up a second blockade. Additionally, a gas pipeline near Sibi Teaching Hospital was destroyed in a blast, disrupting gas supply in the region.
Amid escalating attacks on Pakistani forces, a military camp in the Mastung district was hit by drone strikes. The strikes targeted a camp at Maro Kund in the Spilinji area, utilizing multiple drones in the assault. These attacks resulted in casualties among Pakistani troops, although the exact extent of the losses remains unconfirmed.
Following a drone strike in the Kalat district claimed by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Balochistan has witnessed a surge in coordinated attacks. Pakistani military and police personnel have faced increasing assaults by Baloch militant groups, leading to significant casualties and infrastructure damage. The region continues to endure severe human rights abuses by Pakistani forces, including enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings.
