Left-arm spinner Parunika Sisodia became the highest-paid player at the Delhi Premier League (DPL) T20 Women’s Auction, securing a ₹14 lakh deal with East Delhi Riders. The auction featured intense bidding, Right to Match (RTM) moves, and key signings, highlighting the league’s growing prominence in India.
East Delhi Riders reinforced their team by acquiring marquee players Parunika Sisodia and Simran Dil Bahadur. Central Delhi Queens added all-rounder Arushi Goel to partner with retained marquee all-rounder Soni Yadav. North Delhi Strikers boosted their bowling lineup by signing Priya Mishra alongside retained marquee player Ayushi Soni, while South Delhi Superstarz brought in India batter Priya Punia to support retained India U-19 player Shweta Sehrawat.
Apart from Parunika Sisodia’s ₹14 lakh contract, Arushi Goel was the second-highest earner at ₹11 lakh, joining Central Delhi Queens. The top seven expensive players included names like Sumiti Soni, Simran Dil Bahadur, Purva Siwach, Samaira Raghav, and Pragya Rawat.
Franchises strategically utilized their Right to Match (RTM) cards to retain key players from the previous season. East Delhi Riders secured Pragya Rawat for ₹7 lakh, while North Delhi Strikers re-signed all-rounder Samaira Raghav for the same amount. The teams now possess well-balanced squads with a mix of experienced players and promising talents, setting the stage for a competitive DPL T20 2026 Women’s edition.
