Passengers expressed gratitude to the railways for successfully operating a special train between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and Srinagar. The special reserved train, numbered 04627, was run by the Jammu Division to accommodate heavy crowds and inclement weather. More than 650 passengers traveled on this train, appreciating the convenience and safety it provided.

Another special reserved train, numbered 04628, arrived at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra from Srinagar as scheduled. Over 700 passengers traveled on this train, praising the smooth journey experience. The Senior Divisional Commercial Manager highlighted the train’s role in connecting Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra and the Kashmir Valley during challenging weather conditions, maintaining an occupancy rate of over 100%.

Passengers lauded the special service, emphasizing its benefits during disruptions in road and air travel. This initiative aims to enhance safe travel options, particularly for tourists visiting Kashmir during snowy seasons. The operation of these special reserved trains is seen as a positive step towards improving passenger convenience and potentially boosting tourism in Kashmir.
