Amid concerns of potential student protests due to delays in announcing vacancies for the Teacher Recruitment Examination-4, the Patna administration has issued a strong warning to coaching institute operators and teachers. Intelligence reports indicated that students were gearing up for a protest centered around Patna College. Responding promptly, the district administration held a high-level meeting at Bahadurpur Police Station with key officials, teachers, and coaching center operators in attendance.
The administration clarified during the meeting that any involvement of teachers or coaching operators in the protests would face severe consequences. Emphasizing the collective responsibility of maintaining law and order, authorities cautioned against any actions that could incite or support student unrest. Teacher Guru Rahman, present at the meeting, affirmed the administration’s resolute stance and educators’ dedication to preserving the academic atmosphere.
Officials inquired about coaching schedules, learning that classes typically run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They advised teachers to keep students occupied during these hours to deter their participation in protests. Despite government assurances, aspiring candidates have expressed growing discontent over prolonged delays in the Teacher Recruitment Examination-4 notification. Student organizations are reportedly gearing up for a significant demonstration in Patna, leading to heightened security measures throughout the city.
Several prominent coaching operators, including S.K. Jha, participated in the meeting, where officials stressed the priority of maintaining peace and averting any untoward incidents in Patna.
