The Patna Civil Court has granted anticipatory bail to Faisal Khan, also known as ‘Khan Sir’, and three staff members from Khan Global Studies in connection with a violent clash in Patna’s Musallahpur area. Additionally, two security guards, previously held in Beur Jail, have also been given bail. The incident, occurring on June 2, 2026, involved alleged vandalism and assaults near coaching institutes.
The violence reportedly involved a group entering Khan Global Studies, damaging property, and attacking individuals. One of Khan Sir’s security guards was said to have sustained a head injury during the altercation. Police claimed that amidst the chaos, two guards fired shots into the air to disperse the crowd. Khan Sir was later implicated in the case after a video allegedly showed him encouraging the guards to shoot.
Following a court hearing where arguments from both sides were considered, the anticipatory bail petition was granted. The security guards, Pradeep Kumar and Talebar Singh, who were in custody, have also been released on bail. The clash is believed to have stemmed from a rivalry between Khan Global Studies and Gyan Bindu Coaching, leading to allegations of assault, vandalism, and unauthorized weapon use.
With the recent court decision, Khan Sir has been shielded from immediate arrest under anticipatory bail, while investigations into the incident persist.
