A Patna civil court is scheduled to announce its decision on the anticipatory bail plea of renowned coaching educator Faisal Khan, also known as Khan Sir, regarding a dispute involving fellow coaching operator Roshan Anand. The court had reserved its judgment after hearing arguments earlier this week, with the decision likely determining whether Khan Sir will be protected from arrest in this case.
The hearing occurred in the court of District and Sessions Judge Rupesh Dev at the Patna Civil Court. Legal representatives for both sides presented detailed arguments during Wednesday’s proceedings on various aspects of the case. The anticipatory bail petition filed by Khan Sir and his two bodyguards was the focal point of the hearing, which had commenced on Tuesday and continued for about 40 minutes without reaching a conclusion.
After considering arguments from both parties, the court decided to reserve its order. Advocate Rajat Singh, representing Khan Sir, mentioned that discussions on Tuesday revolved around crucial matters such as the firearm license of one of Khan Sir’s bodyguards. The judge emphasized the need for a prompt resolution, noting the prolonged pendency of the case.
The dispute originated from an incident on June 2 in Patna’s Kadamkuan police station area involving Khan Sir and Roshan Anand, who operates Gyan Bindu GS Academy. Allegations include an assault on a security guard and vandalism during the incident. Khan Sir accused Anand of orchestrating the attack, with a video related to the incident circulating widely on social media. Subsequently, legal actions were initiated, leading to Khan Sir and his bodyguards filing an anticipatory bail application.
