A Patna court has provided interim relief to Faisal Khan, also known as Khan Sir, by halting his arrest related to a recent coaching center firing incident. The court’s decision came after a hearing on Monday, with a final ruling scheduled for June 30. While anticipatory bail is pending, the court has instructed authorities not to take any punitive actions against Khan Sir for now.
This legal development follows an attack on Khan Global Studies, Khan Sir’s coaching institute, on June 2. Subsequently, the police arrested the owner of another coaching institute involved in the incident. The situation escalated when security guards were filmed firing shots during the attack, leading to their arrest and implicating Khan Sir in the case.
Despite facing charges of attempted murder and Arms Act violations, Khan Sir has evaded police attempts to locate him. The court’s decision to stay his arrest has granted him temporary protection, allowing him freedom of movement until further legal proceedings.
