Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan announced that his party will participate in the 2029 elections in Telangana. Despite facing threats, Kalyan emphasized his commitment to engaging in Telangana politics and even traveling within the state.
Addressing concerns about his movement in Telangana, Kalyan asserted that the state is an integral part of India and not a personal estate. He expressed his determination to contest the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections in 2029, although decisions on alliances will be made later.
Kalyan, during a press conference outside his residence in Jubilee Hills, highlighted the importance of focusing on governance issues, employment opportunities, and the implementation of government guarantees. He responded firmly to threats aimed at restricting his movement in Telangana, emphasizing his right to travel within India without hindrance.
