The alleged suicide of a 29-year-old physiotherapist, Bhanu Mohar, by jumping from a multi-story apartment in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, has left residents and security staff shaken. Bhanu, a resident of Datia district, had completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College in Jabalpur in 2025. He was living alone in a rented flat in Yash Heights Apartment in the city after completing his degree.

Police were informed early Saturday morning about the incident where Bhanu had jumped from the fourth floor of the apartment building, leading to his death. City Superintendent of Police (CSP) M.D. Nagotia mentioned that the preliminary investigation revealed that Bhanu allegedly committed suicide by jumping. The police found his rented flat locked, and his mobile phone was sent for forensic examination. Colleagues, friends, and college staff are being contacted as part of the investigation.

The body was taken to the medical college hospital for a post-mortem examination, and the family has been notified. No suicide note was found at the scene, but a case has been registered and is under investigation from all angles. Bhanu had been residing alone in the rented flat in Yash Heights for several months, as per police reports.
