PM Modi underscored the importance of West Asia for India, with approximately one crore Indians residing and working in Gulf countries. He also acknowledged the high number of Indian crew members on commercial ships in the region, emphasizing the heightened concerns for India due to these factors. The Prime Minister assured that every Indian in the affected countries has received necessary assistance since the conflict began, with personal assurances of safety from the heads of state of West Asian nations.
Ensuring the safety and welfare of Indians affected by the conflict, PM Modi highlighted the support provided to families of those who lost their lives or were injured. He mentioned ongoing efforts to offer the best possible treatment to the injured and continuous engagement of Indian missions in assisting affected individuals.
