On Pochishe Boishakh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi honored Rabindranath Tagore, praising his contributions to society through his profound thoughts and cultural influence. Modi highlighted Tagore’s role as a philosopher, educationist, and artist, emphasizing his impact on India’s cultural heritage.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also commemorated Tagore’s birth anniversary, acknowledging his significant influence on India’s independence movement. Shah praised Tagore’s literary masterpiece, Geetanjali, for its spiritual and humanitarian impact, emphasizing the poet’s message of unity and freedom.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid tribute to Tagore, recognizing him as a timeless poet and philosopher whose ideals of humanism and harmony continue to inspire generations. Sinha lauded Tagore’s contributions to literature and philosophy, emphasizing his universal appeal and enduring legacy.

Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti, celebrated on the 25th of Boishakh, marks the birth anniversary of the iconic poet and playwright.
