In response, Iran launched drone and missile attacks on US and Israeli facilities in the region.

Both officials agreed to continue collaborating on addressing the situation and ensuring energy security. The US State Department highlighted the importance of ongoing cooperation between Secretary Rubio and Minister Jaishankar in advancing shared priorities.
