The visit marked the first-ever by an Indian Prime Minister to Slovakia, leading to the decision to upgrade the relationship to a Comprehensive Partnership.
During a joint press conference, PM Modi praised PM Fico’s leadership and friendship, highlighting their shared vision for the future. Technology was identified as a crucial aspect of their partnership, with a focus on digital public infrastructure cooperation through a signed Memorandum of Understanding.
