Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the 52nd PRAGATI meeting, a platform for proactive governance and project implementation coordination. The meeting focused on four major infrastructure projects across four states, with investments totaling around Rs 30,000 crore. PM Modi stressed the importance of timely project completion to avoid cost escalations and ensure benefits reach citizens and industries.
Highlighting the significance of efficient execution, PM Modi urged ministries and state governments to address pending issues promptly and monitor projects rigorously. He emphasized leveraging the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan for streamlined planning and faster infrastructure development. The Prime Minister called for regular updates on project-related information to identify bottlenecks early and enhance coordination among agencies.
PM Modi also assessed the progress of the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and proposed utilizing advanced technologies like artificial intelligence to bolster the campaign. He recommended involving NCC cadets and MY Bharat volunteers in awareness creation and patient monitoring. Additionally, the Prime Minister addressed concerns regarding cybercrime and digital fraud, stressing the need for swift, coordinated actions by relevant authorities to assist citizens efficiently.
In the meeting, PM Modi emphasized the necessity for clear accountability, prompt responses, and enhanced coordination among law enforcement agencies, banks, and digital platforms to combat cyber fraud effectively. He called for increased public awareness campaigns to empower citizens against digital scams.
