Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed warm wishes to the nation on the fifth day of Chaitra Navaratri, dedicated to Goddess Skandamata. He expressed a heartfelt prayer for Goddess Skandamata to illuminate everyone’s life with her compassionate affection and blessings. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also extended his wishes on the auspicious occasion, praying for prosperity, peace, happiness, and good fortune to prevail everywhere under the grace of Mother Skandamata.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, through social media, bowed in utmost devotion to Mother Skandamata on the fifth day of Navratri. She highlighted the significance of Mother Skandamata as the mother of Lord Kartikeya, symbolizing maternal affection, tenderness, and compassion. Goddess Skandamata is revered for guiding her devotees towards spiritual and material success, inspiring societal upliftment with sensitivity.

Goddess Skandamata, depicted with her son Kartikeya on her lap, seated on a lion, and holding lotus flowers, embodies motherhood, compassion, and the ability to lead devotees to success in both spiritual and material aspects. Navratri, a Hindu festival celebrating Goddess Durga and her nine avatars collectively known as Navdurga, is observed with great devotion across India through rituals and prayers honoring the Goddess in her various forms.
