Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in discussions on foreign policy during the 11th Heads of Missions Conference held in New Delhi. The conference, organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, focused on the theme “Reforming Indian Diplomacy for 2047” at the National Agricultural Science Complex, Pusa. PM Modi emphasized the importance of advancing trade, technology, and strategic partnerships to enhance India’s global engagement.
External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar delivered the inaugural address to High Commissioners, Ambassadors, and senior officials, acknowledging India’s expanded global presence over the past decade. He highlighted the readiness of Indian diplomacy to pursue national interests in a volatile global landscape. The conference included activities such as yoga sessions, brainstorming, and discussions on geopolitical developments and emerging technologies.
Throughout the event, presentations were made on future-ready diplomacy, promoting Trade, Technology, and Tourism (3Ts), and enhancing the “Bharat” narrative. PM Modi interacted with Heads of Mission and diplomats, exchanging insights on strengthening India’s international relations. He also shared his vision for achieving a developed India by 2047 through diplomatic efforts.
