During the annual ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ event in Coimbatore, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of discipline and inspiration for students, along with utilizing new technology for learning. He advised students to balance discipline and inspiration for personal growth and cautioned against becoming overly reliant on technology. Students in Coimbatore expressed gratitude for the Prime Minister’s insights and interaction.

When asked about the significance of motivation versus discipline during stressful times, a student named Ananya Tolia received a response from the Prime Minister emphasizing the equal importance of both. PM Modi illustrated the necessity of discipline by explaining that without it, inspiration alone may not yield results, using the analogy of a farmer procrastinating despite being inspired by others.

Addressing concerns about Artificial Intelligence (AI), another student, Aadhi Vikram, questioned PM Modi on the impact of AI and its role in shaping future careers. The Prime Minister reassured students not to fear technology but to embrace it as a tool for learning and growth. He highlighted the need to avoid becoming slaves to technology and encouraged utilizing it for educational purposes.

Students shared their positive experiences after interacting with PM Modi, expressing their happiness and gratitude for the opportunity. PM Modi acknowledged the students’ interests in startups, technology, and AI, referring to them as the “Young thinking of young India.” He emphasized that this youthful mindset would contribute to the nation’s progress towards achieving the goal of Viksit Bharat 2047.
