He urged them to dedicate themselves to nation-building with a strong sense of purpose. At a session at Seva Teerth, PM Modi expressed confidence in the young officers’ potential to elevate India’s development journey. He highlighted the significance of the officers’ role as Assistant Secretaries in Ministries and Departments. The Officer Trainees shared insights from their field training experiences and Ministry attachments.
PM Modi stressed the critical juncture the officers are at, where their decisions will not only impact their careers but also the future of millions of citizens. He emphasized the importance of integrity, sensitivity, and commitment in handling real-life situations. The Prime Minister urged the young civil servants to focus on nation-building with purpose, innovation, and citizen-centric governance.

He emphasized the mantra of “Nagrik Devo Bhava” and urged officers to prioritize citizen-centric decision-making. Stressing a whole-of-government approach, the Prime Minister highlighted the need for coordinated efforts across departments to address developmental challenges effectively.
