PM Modi Encourages Young Innovators to Take Risks for India’s Development

Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Gen Z for their commitment to developing India through creativity and urged young innovators to embrace bigger risks. He emphasized the need for a forward-thinking mindset and assured government support. PM Modi highlighted the New Education Policy 2020 as a significant reform to move away from colonial-era education policies.

Addressing the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue, PM Modi stressed the importance of Swadeshi and breaking free from colonial mentalities. He encouraged the youth to lead the country towards a more self-reliant future. PM Modi also commended the growth of startups in India, noting the significant increase from 500 to over 1.5 lakh startups since 2014.

PM Modi discussed simplification of tax policies and support for the startup ecosystem, particularly in the space sector. He expressed confidence in the youth’s ability to drive national development, citing their focus on topics like women-led development and youth participation in democracy. The Prime Minister highlighted the government’s efforts to promote innovation in sectors like drones and gaming, urging innovators to incorporate Indian mythological elements.
