PM Modi Hails Daman as Mini India for its Diversity

Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Daman as a miniature representation of India’s diversity during a public address in the region. He highlighted the unique character of Daman, emphasizing its diverse population from various regions, languages, and cultures. PM Modi expressed gratitude to the residents for their unity and participation, reflecting the spirit of the country.

During his speech, PM Modi acknowledged the region’s development progress, noting his frequent visits to Daman, Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli over the years. He commended the advancements in infrastructure, healthcare, and education, attributing the improvements to the collective efforts of the local administration and officials. The Prime Minister emphasized that new projects in connectivity, tourism, healthcare, and urban development would enhance opportunities for the youth and elevate the quality of life in the Union Territory.

PM Modi’s visit also underscored the significance of long-term vision and effective governance in driving the region’s progress. He recognized the fulfillment of residents’ aspirations for better amenities and highlighted the transformative impact of ongoing development initiatives in Daman.
