Prime Minister Narendra Modi, reflecting on 12 years of BJP-led governance, emphasized the government’s focus on public welfare and global recognition. He reiterated a commitment to good governance for a developed India. As PM Modi nears 12 years in office on June 10, his tenure has reshaped India’s political landscape significantly.

PM Modi’s tenure has been characterized by a dedication to trust, development, and public welfare. He acknowledged the support of fellow citizens in empowering youth, women, and farmers. The government’s efforts have led to India’s enhanced global standing in infrastructure and technology.

With a series of electoral victories since 2014, PM Modi has become one of India’s longest-serving leaders. On June 10, he will surpass Jawaharlal Nehru as India’s longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister. Nehru’s initial term began in 1952, while PM Modi’s unbroken tenure continues.

Under PM Modi’s leadership, the government has undertaken significant infrastructure projects like the new Parliament building and the Central Vista redevelopment. Other notable projects include the Kartavya Path, Vande Bharat trains, and the Noida International Airport. The government’s focus on nation-building has been evident through initiatives like the Statue of Unity and the Ganga Expressway.
