He mentioned the induction of indigenous ships into the Navy and the successful test flight of the ‘Made in India’ aircraft C-295. Additionally, PM Modi commended the successful flight-test of an indigenous long-range land attack cruise missile by DRDO, emphasizing India’s enhanced security and self-sufficiency.
Recalling his visit to West Bengal, PM Modi highlighted the ‘Swadeshi’ aspect of the Navy event in Kolkata, where indigenous ships were inducted. He also mentioned the significant progress in the aviation sector with the maiden test flight of the ‘Made in India’ Airbus C-295. Furthermore, he acknowledged the global participation in International Yoga Day, with numerous yoga programs held worldwide, including the World Yogasana Championship in Ahmedabad where India secured top honors with 114 medals.
