Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Gujarat on Saturday and conducted a public roadshow in Sanand before a significant industrial opening. He landed at Ahmedabad airport at 03:40 pm and proceeded directly to the Sanand GIDC area, where a large crowd awaited him along the route. Eyewitnesses noted a substantial public presence, with locals lining the streets and cheering as his motorcade passed by.
The roadshow featured visible security measures and efficient traffic management to accommodate both participants and spectators. This event preceded a crucial ceremony scheduled for later in the day. Following the roadshow, PM Modi is set to participate in the inauguration of a major semiconductor facility in Sanand.
The semiconductor facility, established by Micron Semiconductor Technology India Private Limited, stands as one of the most significant investments in India’s technology manufacturing sector. The Assembly, Test, Marking, and Packaging (ATMP) facility has been built with a total investment of Rs 22,516 crore and is expected to play a vital role in India’s semiconductor value chain.
