Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a state-of-the-art integrated refinery-cum-petrochemical complex in Pachpadra, Rajasthan’s Balotra district. Emphasizing the BJP-led government’s commitment to completing projects, Modi interacted with engineers, inspected the facility, and dedicated it to the nation. He also laid the foundation stone for Jaipur Metro Phase 2 virtually during the event.
Addressing a large gathering, PM Modi expressed gratitude for the support shown despite the scorching heat, highlighting the people’s faith in the government’s efforts. He underscored the significance of the refinery project as a major step towards a developed and self-reliant India, praising the rapid restoration of operations following a fire accident earlier this year.
PM Modi commended the engineers and workers for their hard work and dedication, stating that the completion of the project in record time showcased India’s unwavering resolve. He also discussed India’s energy security, mentioning the successful navigation of global challenges amid geopolitical tensions.
The refinery, established in Pachpadra with an investment exceeding Rs 79,000 crore, is set to enhance India’s energy infrastructure and create substantial industrial and employment opportunities in western Rajasthan.
