Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted India’s potential as a reliable manufacturing partner amidst global shifts. Speaking at a post-Budget Webinar, he emphasized the need for investments in technology, research, and quality standards to sustain economic growth. Modi noted India’s growing importance in global supply chains, calling it a beacon of hope for the world.

Touching on Free Trade Agreements, the Prime Minister urged the Indian industry to focus on quality to leverage opportunities. He emphasized the importance of understanding international consumer preferences to create user-friendly products for global markets. Modi reiterated the government’s vision of boosting production, connectivity, and exports.

Addressing the MSME sector, Modi praised recent reforms removing barriers to expansion. He encouraged MSMEs to enhance productivity, quality, and digital connectivity to compete globally. The Prime Minister underscored infrastructure and logistics as key to national growth, with a focus on high-speed rail and connectivity improvements.

Modi stressed the significance of urban planning for India’s future growth, seeking ideas on leveraging Tier-II and Tier-III cities for development. He highlighted the global shift towards sustainability and urged businesses to adopt clean technology for market access. The Prime Minister emphasized the interconnectedness of manufacturing, MSMEs, and urban centers in driving economic growth.
