Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized that India’s economy is significantly contributing to global growth through the principles of “Reform, Perform, and Transform.” This approach has propelled the nation’s progress and enhanced its global standing. PM Modi expressed gratitude to the Indian community in Indonesia for fostering stronger ties between the two countries.

The Prime Minister underscored the pivotal role played by the Indian diaspora in promoting Indian culture, values, and traditions worldwide. He also recalled Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto’s visit to India as the Chief Guest for Republic Day celebrations, highlighting the profound impact of his statement affirming a shared connection with India.

PM Modi described the relationship between India and Indonesia as deeply rooted in centuries-old cultural and historical bonds, extending beyond mere diplomatic ties. He emphasized the civilizational nature of the relations, noting the continuous strengthening of friendship between the two nations. Additionally, the Prime Minister acknowledged Indonesia’s highest civilian honor bestowed upon him, attributing it to the entire Indian community and symbolizing the enduring friendship between the two countries.

Expressing his appreciation for the warm reception in Indonesia, PM Modi recounted the heartfelt welcome extended to him upon his arrival. He mentioned President Prabowo personally receiving him at the airport, accompanied by Cabinet members, reflecting the strong goodwill towards India. The Prime Minister commended the affection and enthusiasm displayed by the Indonesian people, underscoring the deep bond shared between the two nations.
