Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a break from his busy schedule while in Israel to meet the cast and crew of the popular Israeli show, “Fauda.” During his visit, PM Modi even took a selfie with the stars of the well-known Netflix series.
Sharing the selfie on his official social media handle, PM Modi humorously mentioned that this interaction only required a selfie and no undercover work. The photo featured the Prime Minister alongside ‘Fauda’ creators Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, as well as cast members Laetitia Eido and Doron Ben-David, among others.
In response to the post, Lior expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister, calling it a huge honor for them. Additionally, social media users flooded the comment section with positive remarks, appreciating the cultural ties showcased in the selfie moment.
The show “Fauda” is loosely inspired by the experiences of the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) and follows a team of elite Israeli undercover agents on missions to capture Palestinian militants. With a significant fan base in India, the spy-thriller series was even adapted into Hindi as “Tanaav” in 2022.
