PM Modi hosted the Kerala BJP Panchayat, Municipality, and Corporation members at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, discussing strategies to enhance the BJP’s connection with the public and promote good governance.
In the meeting, PM Modi acknowledged the hard work of BJP workers in building the party in Kerala and assured further growth in the state. He promised to campaign for the upcoming Assembly elections in Kerala, celebrating the BJP’s victory in the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation as a significant milestone. The BJP, with 50 seats in the 101-member Corporation and the support of an Independent Councillor, formed a government, marking a breakthrough in local politics.
During the interaction, PM Modi focused on Kerala’s development potential and its role in India’s progress. He stressed the importance of engaging at the grassroots level and effectively implementing Central schemes locally. The Kerala BJP representatives raised concerns about urban and rural development models, service delivery enhancement, and youth employment opportunities.
