PM Modi Praises BJP Leader for Cycling 702 km from Bengaluru to Kanniyakumari

Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended senior BJP leader S. Suresh Kumar, an MLA from Bengaluru, for cycling 702 km from Bengaluru to Kanniyakumari. Modi described the feat as commendable and inspiring, especially considering the health challenges Suresh Kumar overcame at the age of 70.

In a social media post, PM Modi highlighted Suresh Kumar’s determination, grit, and the importance of fitness showcased by his cycling journey. Modi personally congratulated Suresh Kumar for his accomplishment and spoke to him about the effort.

Suresh Kumar, a former Karnataka minister, completed the 702-km cycling journey in five days, drawing attention for his perseverance at the age of 70 and after recovering from serious health issues. This was Suresh Kumar’s second cycling journey to Kanniyakumari, the first being undertaken over five decades ago.

In another social media post, Suresh Kumar expressed his excitement at receiving a call from PM Modi, who was interested in learning about the details and significance of the cycling expedition. The journey has been widely shared on social media, with many highlighting the message of perseverance and physical fitness.

PM Modi, known for promoting physical fitness and an active lifestyle through initiatives like Fit India, has consistently stressed the importance of staying healthy and active.
