President Subianto announced the conferment of the ‘Bintang Adipurna of the Republic of Indonesia’ on Prime Minister Modi, recognizing his exceptional service. This honor, established in 1959, is the highest civilian and military medal of distinction in Indonesia, adding to the list of prestigious accolades bestowed on PM Modi globally.
During bilateral talks in Jakarta, PM Modi and President Subianto discussed various sectors, emphasizing defense, security, and maritime cooperation. Modi highlighted the deepening relations between India and Indonesia, focusing on trade, human development, agriculture, food security, and healthcare. Both leaders agreed on the importance of collaboration in emerging technologies like space, telecommunications, and artificial intelligence.
