During the roadshow, participants showered flowers at PM Modi, waved the Tricolour, and chanted slogans like “Modi, Modi,” “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” and “Jai Shri Ram.” The enthusiastic crowd, including many in traditional attire, performed folk dances to welcome the Prime Minister warmly.
Later in the day, PM Modi is scheduled to visit Jai Maa Daat Kali Temple near Dehradun for Darshan and Pooja. Subsequently, he will inaugurate the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor at a public event in Dehradun and address the audience.
The 213 km long six-lane access-controlled Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor, developed at a cost exceeding Rs 12,000 crore, passes through Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. The corridor aims to significantly reduce travel time between Delhi and Dehradun from over six hours to around two and a half hours.
