Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted pictures of the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, set to be inaugurated on Saturday, emphasizing its importance for regional connectivity. The airport project in Uttar Pradesh is fully prepared for operations, with the inauguration scheduled for Saturday. Security measures have been intensified in the region, with the Prime Minister expected to arrive around noon for the inauguration ceremony, followed by a public rally.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to visit Greater Noida to oversee the final arrangements ahead of the event. Elaborate security arrangements have been put in place, dividing the region into multiple security zones and deploying a significant number of police and paramilitary personnel to ensure a smooth event. To manage the expected large crowds, a traffic plan has been implemented, restricting the movement of goods vehicles on specific expressways to facilitate VIP movements.
The Jewar airport’s operationalization is a significant milestone for Uttar Pradesh, poised to become one of Asia’s largest aviation hubs. The airport is anticipated to boost connectivity, attract investments, and drive economic and industrial growth in Uttar Pradesh and the broader North Indian region.
