PM Modi, while inaugurating various infrastructure projects worth over Rs 5,470 crore aimed at enhancing connectivity and economic growth, underscored the importance of honest governance. He accused the AAP of being involved in various scandals and failing to address critical issues facing Punjab, such as drug abuse and deteriorating law and order. PM Modi asserted that the BJP is committed to bringing positive change to Punjab and emphasized the party’s vision for the state’s development.
The Prime Minister also took a dig at the Congress party for its internal conflicts and criticized the Shiromani Akali Dal led by Sukhbir Badal for its lack of focus on public welfare. PM Modi highlighted the BJP’s role in promoting development and self-reliance in Punjab, emphasizing the party’s commitment to creating new opportunities and investments in the state. He reiterated the government’s dedication to executing infrastructure projects in Punjab, despite the absence of a BJP-led administration in the state.
In his address, PM Modi interacted with the audience in Punjabi, expressing optimism and highlighting the significance of unity and progress. He inaugurated several railway stations and launched new train services, emphasizing the importance of modernizing transportation infrastructure. PM Modi also laid the foundation stone for key road projects aimed at improving connectivity and reducing travel time in Punjab.
