Addressing a public gathering in Hardoi after inaugurating the Ganga Expressway, PM Modi emphasized that the Samajwadi Party’s stance against the bill showcased their anti-development and anti-women attitudes. He highlighted that the bill would have empowered women in politics without reducing opportunities for other sections of society.
PM Modi also criticized parties like the DMK for opposing the bill due to concerns about seat allocations. He emphasized that the bill aimed to increase seats for all states proportionately and lamented the opposition’s narrow political calculations.
The Prime Minister lauded the progress of Uttar Pradesh under the BJP government, citing infrastructure developments like the Ganga Expressway. He highlighted the state’s transformation into a one-trillion-dollar economy and emphasized the government’s commitment to rapid development and infrastructure growth.
Describing the Ganga Expressway as a transformative project, PM Modi underscored its role in opening new opportunities and enhancing connectivity across regions. He praised the state’s economic potential and youth population, positioning Uttar Pradesh as a key manufacturing hub in the making.
