Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Somnath for a ceremony marking 75 years since the temple’s restoration, Swami Ambarishanand ji Maharaj from Bharat Seva Ashram Sangh praised PM Modi as a cultural enthusiast. He highlighted Somnath as the first of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India, with historical significance. Swami Ambarishanand expressed confidence that PM Modi’s presence would inspire interest in the nation’s heritage and culture among citizens.
PM Modi is set to visit the Somnath Temple on May 11. Referring to PM Modi’s cultural interest, Swami Ambarishanand appreciated the Prime Minister’s commitment to attending the ceremony despite a busy schedule. He mentioned the restoration of the temple after multiple attacks, attributing it to the people’s faith and devotion.
BJP workers are actively preparing for PM Modi’s visit, anticipating his prayers at the temple following the party’s success in the Assembly polls. The upcoming event, part of the Amrit Mahotsav celebrating 75 years since India’s Independence, holds significance for the party. PM Modi’s schedule includes a roadshow upon arrival at 9 A.M., followed by worship at the Somnath temple.
During the visit, an airshow has been organized in the region for the first time, adding to the excitement. PM Modi is expected to address a public gathering post his prayers at the temple. Kunjal Trivedi, a BJP worker, expressed enthusiasm and pride for PM Modi’s upcoming visit, marking his second visit within four months.
