Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media to connect with the people of Rajasthan, particularly in Jaipur, ahead of his upcoming visit. He highlighted the significant projects set for inauguration and foundation stone laying on Saturday, focusing on sectors like energy, aviation, semiconductors, and urban development. PM Modi mentioned the upcoming launch of the second phase of the Jaipur Metro Rail Project, emphasizing the development of a corridor connecting residential and industrial areas in Jaipur.
The Prime Minister also announced other projects scheduled for dedication, including the Churu-Sadulpur and Churu-Ratangarh rail-doubling projects, the four-laning of NH-125A, and the Jodhpur Ring Road Section-2. Additionally, he shared details about a refinery-cum-petrochemical complex to be inaugurated during his visit, highlighting its significance in boosting India’s energy and petrochemicals sector while creating employment opportunities.
PM Modi further revealed plans for Jodhpur, where he will inaugurate the New Terminal Building of Jodhpur Airport. Stressing the importance of Jodhpur in India’s tourism landscape, he expressed confidence that the upgraded infrastructure will attract more tourists and enhance commercial activities. The launch of the Modified UDAN Scheme from Jodhpur was also announced, aiming to improve air connectivity across India by developing aerodromes and enhancing Operations and Maintenance support.
