Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to virtually inaugurate the redeveloped Tikamgarh railway station on July 17 as part of the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The initiative, led by the Central government, focuses on modernizing railway stations nationwide to enhance passenger amenities and infrastructure.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will be present at the event in Tikamgarh and will take part in the station’s inauguration ceremony. Additionally, he will launch development projects valued at over Rs 189 crore in the district and distribute benefits to recipients of various government welfare schemes.

Under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, the Tikamgarh railway station has undergone redevelopment to provide modern and passenger-friendly facilities. The scheme’s objective is to elevate railway stations into contemporary spaces that offer a superior travel experience for passengers.

Following the railway station’s inauguration, the Chief Minister will unveil two newly constructed Sandipani Vidyalayas in Jatara and Baragaon Dhasan, with a combined cost of Rs 67.81 crore. He will also lay the foundation stone for another Sandipani Vidyalaya in Khargapur, estimated at Rs 40.48 crore.

In addition to educational projects, Chief Minister Yadav will inaugurate and initiate various other infrastructure and public welfare projects in Tikamgarh, totaling more than Rs 189 crore. These initiatives aim to enhance the region’s education, infrastructure, and public welfare services.
