Police Arrest Hardcore Criminal Linked to Dev Kalyanpuri Gang in Delhi

In a significant development during ‘Operation Gang Bust’, the Police Station Patparganj Industrial Area in Delhi’s East District apprehended a notorious criminal associated with the Dev Kalyanpuri Gang. The arrested individual, identified as Dev Singh from Kalyanpuri, was found in possession of an illegal firearm and three live cartridges near Samadhi Park in Gazipur Village.
Dev Singh, a habitual offender with a history of criminal activities including Arms Act violations, theft, and robbery, was targeted based on intelligence inputs and technical surveillance. The operation was part of the East District Police’s initiative ‘Operation Gang Bust’ aimed at cracking down on active gang members and habitual criminals in the area.
Under the supervision of SHO Inspector Shiv Kumar and ACP Madhu Vihar, a dedicated team at PS Patparganj Industrial Area conducted the operation. The team, led by Head Constable Vikas Tyagi and Constable Shahzad, utilized field surveillance, night patrolling, and intelligence-based monitoring to track down the criminal.
