Police in J&K’s Reasi district recently located and reunited two missing individuals with their families, easing the worries of their loved ones. In the first incident, Anil Kumar Tripathi, who had gone missing from his home in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, was found in the Katra market area. Efforts by the police led to his successful reunion with his family in Kanpur after proper verification.

In a separate incident, a nine-year-old girl named Dhatri Dwivedi, who was separated from her family in Unnao, Kanpur, was brought to the Police Station Katra by local citizens. The police promptly initiated efforts to locate her family, resulting in a successful reunion after thorough verification procedures. District Police Reasi acknowledged the public’s support and emphasized their dedication to ensuring the safety of residents and visitors.

With the ongoing Navratras attracting a large number of devotees to the Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine, police and security forces have been deployed to ensure a smooth pilgrimage experience. The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, under the leadership of J&K L-G Manoj Sinha, has enhanced facilities at the Katra base camp and the main shrine to accommodate the growing number of pilgrims.
